Those who know me usually raise their eyebrows when I tell them that I have "discovered" cooking. Until very recently, my idea of cooking meant going in the kitchen, whipping up something fast and easy and getting out of the kitchen asap. It worked for so many years until my daughter started saying she wanted to bake with me and be a good "cooker". I now find myself thinking about what to cook and how to make it palatable as well as healthy.
